SBI Board votes in favour of RCom resolution plan

SBI Board votes in favour of RCom resolution plan: RCom (Reliance Communication) resolution plan has been approved by the board of State Bank of India (SBI) and the latter will now vote in favour of the plan, as per the sources close to the development said. SBI is the lead lender to RCom.

The company’s board has approved the resolution to convert the business into a public entity, renaming it from PhysicsWallah Private Limited to PhysicsWallah Limited, according to a recent regulatory filing. PhysicsWallah, which has revolutionized affordable education in India, intends to list its equity shares on one or more stock exchanges, though no specific timeline has been set.
