SBI removes minimum balance requirement, cuts Interest rate: State Bank of India aka SBI has cut the interest rate on all savings bank accounts to three percent and also waived minimum balance requirement. Earlier in the day, SBI reduced its fixed deposit rates and marginal cost of funds-based lending rates for various tenors.

The company’s board has approved the resolution to convert the business into a public entity, renaming it from PhysicsWallah Private Limited to PhysicsWallah Limited, according to a recent regulatory filing. PhysicsWallah, which has revolutionized affordable education in India, intends to list its equity shares on one or more stock exchanges, though no specific timeline has been set.
