Pure Storage appoints Ajay Singh as CPO


Pure Storage appoints Ajay Singh as CPO: Pure Storage has assigned Ajay Singh in the position of Chief Product Officer (CPO) with immediate effect.

 

In this position, Singh will take ahead the company’s focus of creating an unrivalled product portfolio that delivers a great customer experience, contributes to Pure's growth, and extends industry leadership in data and storage management.

 

He will report to Charles Giancarlo, Chairman and CEO.

As CPO, Singh will have direct responsibility for all of Pure's business units as well as the Global Alliances team focused on developing strong partnerships with important technology partners. Singh brings to Pure more than 25 years of experience in software and services with an extensive background leading as-a-Service and DevOps teams. He joins the company from VMware, where he led the company's transformation to the cloud as the General Manager of the Cloud Management Business Unit.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
