CDS 2021: Be acquainted with todays cyber security threats and its impact: Technology has become an increasingly integral aspect of the workplace and society. From email correspondence and financial transactions, to professional networking and collaborative work documents, businesses rely on technology to be connected at all times and conduct work effectively. However, when these lines of communication are threatened or even compromised, it can have a disastrous effect on the business. All businesses, no matter its size, need to ensure everyone involved in the company is up to date on the latest cyber security threats and the best methods for protecting data.

 

The 5th edition of Cyber and Data Security Summit 2021 witnesses an overwhelming response from the industry leaders. Most of the corporate who are into security say that, security is foundational to everything we do as the Cybercrime damages will cost the world $6 trillion by 2021. The pandemic was a difficult test for the technology leaders and the success based on how they navigated their organisations through changing consumption patterns. DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
