India accomplishes the 100 Crore vaccination milestone: India has delivered more than 100 crore Jabs since the COVID-19 vaccination drive launched in January this year. With this achievement, India is expected to see a high-growth in the economy.

 

While more than 31% of the eligible population has been fully vaccinated, 75% have received their first dose, the government reported.

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who visited the RML hospital in Delhi to mark the milestone, congratulated the country and called it "the triumph of Indian science, enterprise and collective spirit of 130 crore Indians".

 

According to the Union Health Ministry data, India took 85 days to touch the 10-crore mark, 45 more days to cross the 20-crore mark and 29 more days to reach the 30-crore mark.

 

The top five states which have administered the highest number of doses are Uttar Pradesh



followed by Maharashtra, West Bengal, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh....
