Buffalo's LinkTheatre simplifies Digital Life

Buffalo Technology has announced their LinkTheatre Full HD Media Player (LT-V100-AP). Designed with HDTV screens in mind, it can adapt video content up to a 1080i resolution. It includes networking via Ethernet connection, digital audio output, a USB port to directly connect your media files on your USB storage device, HDMI and Composite video outputs and the ability to natively play an array of latest audio/video formats.

"With Buffalo's LinkTheatre Network Media Player, listen to music, view photos, watch HD videos on your TV straight from your USB or network storage device - no PC required!" said Susumu Kobayashi, Country Head, Buffalo Technology. The Buffalo LinkTheatre simply connects to TV, camcorder or digital camera, external HDD and USB. It provides full HD picture quality and playback that can be easily plugged into the living room big screen TV.

Buffalo LinkTheatre Full HD Media Player transfers digital files from PC to USB devices connected to the LinkTheatre via home network. It searches and plays digital media files easily from network HDD or USB devices with the included remote control. Buffalo LinkTheatre corresponds also to the Hi-Vision cameras such as AVCHD. It will stream multimedia content from a Windows PC, a Network HDD, USB storage devices or any DLNA-CERTIFIED media server device.
