Acer announces the winners of 'Acer Intel festive offer'

Acer has announced the grand finale to declare the winners of the "Acer Intel festive offer", the most-awaited moment for several Acer consumers. Acer had announced a special contest on its Aspire range of notebooks for the end-consumers during October-November 2010. Enthusiastic contestants registered online to share their views on why they had to win the contest. A select panel of judges chose the winners based on their zeal and the refreshing quotes to win the contest.

The iconic motorcycle, aspired by most of the youth was won by Rahul Singh from Kolkata. Rahul had the most inspiring line amongst all the other participants stating "Acer has never made me lose anything. Why start with this?" Along with the winner, Acer also announced the other winners of the contest, 5 other participants won an all- expense paid trip to Switzerland along with their spouses and 30 other participants won the most stylish special edition Acer Liquid E Ferrari Smartphones.

Announcing the winner, S. Rajendran, CMO, Acer India, said, "We, at Acer, are equally excited as much as the winners present here. Announcing the winners, Gopal Swaminathan, Director - Sales & Marketing, Intel South Asia, said, "The Acer-Intel contest generated an overwhelming response and we congratulate all the winners. There is a strong PC market out there and the PC is surely becoming an irreplaceable device in a household, given its life-changing capabilities."

Acer also gave away thousands of other gifts like Puma backpack and Fastrack sunglasses to other participants.
