D-Link strengthening its support Infrastructure

Following the recent acquisition of a new corporate property in Mumbai, D-Link has taken another giant step towards strengthening its company infrastructure by acquiring a new warehouse facility in Goa.

Located in Verna, D-Link's new warehouse facility holds strategic importance due to its proximity to Goa Airport, Goa Dockyard and National Highway NH-17 which opens up multi-mode transportation opportunities in a big way.

Inaugurating the new warehouse in Goa, Gary Yang, Managing Director, D-Link India Ltd. said, "As we always say India is a huge market that holds great potential & we are extremely focused on building networks here. Consumers today associate D-link with quality & reliability and hence we have been seeing an upswing in demand for D-Link products/ solutions. In order to cater to this growing demand we have been streamlining our support Infrastructure in India, and so that we are in a better position to support our consumers"

The newly acquired warehouse is a state-of-the-art facility spread across an area of 2,100sq.mt with a scope of expanding its storage capacity by double. The new warehouse is equipped with dedicated loading bays with Dock Leveler for Inward and Outward shipments to ease material movement. Further deployment of Material Handling Equipments at the warehouse will help optimize the turnaround time leading to increased efficiency.
