eScan ends 2010 with a bang

eScan has won a plethora of awards for its eScan range of Anti-Virus and Information Security solutions. eScan has been winning the VB100% and AV-Comparatives awards on a continuous basis. These awards are e from renowned Independent testing bodies that undertake strenuous test on the products before awarding them.

In the AV-Comparatives December 2010 performance tests, eScan topped the PC Mark Score sheet amongst 20 Anti-Virus Vendors with a score of 97 points. The AV-Comparative performance test is a real metric of the performance of Anti-Virus solutions as it replicates the real life scenario of the impact of using an Anti-Virus solution on a computer during file copying, playing movies or music, downloading files from the internet, installing / uninstalling / launching of an application, etc.

In the VB100% tests for December 2010, John Hawes (Technical Consultant & Test Team Director) the Editor of VB100% commented that the eScan interface is fancy and stylish, with Mac-style icons which enlarge on mouse rollover, but under the hood a splendid level of configuration controls are provided to satisfy even the most specialist of requirements. eScan did not have any issues in the Wildlist and the RAP tests and earned another VB100% for its detection.

Govind Rammurthy, CEO and Managing Director, eScan said, "We would like to take this occasion to thank and wish all our customers, channel partners and our media partners a Safe, Secure, Prosperous and a very Happy New Year 2011. We are very happy to have ended 2010 on such a great note and we will strive very hard to continue this momentum forward in 2011 by coming with products that are user friendly and offer advanced Information Security to our customers. The fact that eScan managed to pip a large number of competitors, speaks volumes about the quality of our products. "
