Hynix India Roadshow 2011 successfully concluded

ABACUS PERIPHERALS has hosted Hynix India Roadshow 2011 in Mumbai on the 19th January. The event was attended by more than 200 channel partners, retailers, major system integrators from across the length and breadth of Mumbai. Seong Byung Ho, Managing Director, Hynix Semiconductor, South Korea, and Sanjay Kaul, General Manager, Hynix Semiconductor, India, were present during the event.

The main purpose of the meet was to educate the channel partners and dealers about the latest technologies in the DRAM Industry and also provide an insight into the future price trends in the DRAM industry, the most volatile PC component. During the meet, dealers and channel partners got opportunity to interact with the dignitaries and solve their queries. During the meet Abacus Peripherals showcased their range of products which includes ZION RAM & IQ Flash Drives, the ones which are manufactured using components from Hynix Semiconductors.

Umesh Modi, CEO, Abacus Peripherals, said, "Our aim has always been to make consumers aware of new products and technology. This event has given us a very good platform to interact with our channel partners and resolve their queries. This also strengthened our bond with our vendor as well. Our conviction got even more strengthened after receiving overwhelming responses from our guests and shall hold more such events in the near future."

The roadshow received overwhelming response from the dealers all across Mumbai.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
