Targus Technologies goes on an Expansion Spree globally

Targus Technologies is currently on an expansion drive. The company is keen on stepping up its footprints in markets across globe and is now targeting Australia, Japan, Singapore and Africa. The company's operation in Singapore has already begun with a new office that was opened a few months ago in Singapore.

Under its expansion plans, the company is targeting at various kinds of clients, namely the large corporate and telecom operators overseas. To boost its business opportunities outside India, Targus has established an International Business Group (IBG). The company also has aggressive plans to spread its wings and accomplish business development across verticals such as commercial and mid-market clients, particularly those pertaining to the telecom sector. In future, Targus Technologies may come up with tie-ups with companies in the aforementioned countries.

According to Col. (Retd.) Balwinder Singh, Director, Targus Technologies Pvt. Ltd., "Targus Technologies is looking forward to a vigorous expansion drive across the globe. Envisioning our future plans, we recently chose Singapore to operate in Southeast Asia and opened an office there as Singapore offers a strategic location. In 2010, the volume of revenue generated from Singapore was 1 million USD. Hence, we are planning to invest more here so as to achieve our target of 10 million USD in 2011. Also, we are focussing on Australia, Japan and Africa. The latter has a huge potential as it is still a developing market. Though Australia and Japan are developed markets, we still find a lot of scope for us there and we are expecting to enter into a consortium with like-minded companies in order to boost our proliferation."

For its globally distributed customers, Targus Technologies has set up a state-of-the-art remote infrastructure management centre in Gurgaon, which monitors and manages the IT infrastructure of many companies in real time.
