Yahoo! India R&D presents Big Thinkers Series 2011
Yahoo! India R&D has announced the schedule of its Big Thinkers Series for 2011. A much-awaited quarterly event, Big Thinkers Series is an important calendar event for the research and tech community.
Started in 2007, the Yahoo! Big Thinkers India Series is a well-established quarterly lecture on topics ranging from science, technology and the Internet. The speakers are globally acclaimed subject-matter experts from the Yahoo! Research team. They bring with them the expertise and global perspective of the constantly changing world of technology, online products and communities in the overall Internet space. The speakers focus on Internet trends, data driven analysis, high quality research, algorithms and economic models.
This year's series will start with Ravi Kumar, Principal Research Scientist, Yahoo! Research, who will deliver a lecture on "Online Social Interactions". This talk will be held on Friday, January 28 between 3 pm and 5 pm at ITC Gardenia, Bangalore.
