Zebronics has added a new product in laptop accessories range, Zebdrive. Zebdrive is an external slim USB DVD R/W drive. It can be connected to any laptop/desktop through a USB port. It comes in a very attractive rubber finish surface. Apart from looking nice, the rubber surface is less prone to scratches. As its portable device, it will make a great companion to your laptop. It also takes power from USB port so it is very convenient to use even on the move.

Commenting on the launch of Zebdrive, Pradeep Doshi, Director - Sales, Topnotch Infotronix, said, "Zebdrive is an important product in the laptop accessories range. We have given great importance to portability and aesthetics. As people are going to carry it with them, it should look good and the smaller size makes it easier to put in your laptop bag."

The maximum write speed for CD-R is 24x and DVD-R 8x. It supports various operating systems as Windows and Mac. Windows 98 onwards, there is no driver required to use the Zebdrive. It supports various types of media as CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-ROM, DVD-R, DVD-RW and also DOS boot.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
