DIGISOL launches Wireless USB Adapter

DIGISOL has introduced its wireless USB adapter DG-WN3150N. Wireless USB adapter enables notebook/desktop computers having USB interface to connect wirelessly with other clients in the network. It complies with IEEE 802.11n standard and is backward compatible with IEEE 802.11b/g standard. The DG-WN3150N wireless USB adapter can achieve wireless data transmission rate up to 150Mbps which enhances the sharing of files, photo, audio, video and gaming experience over wireless network.

The DG-WN3150N wireless USB adapter supports WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), which simplifies wireless client set-up procedures, so that even an inexperienced user can set up a secured wireless network without any configuration.

DG-WN3150N supports robust security using WPA2 Enterprise (802.1x with AES) which enhances the security of wireless network to protect sensitive data from hackers. DG-WN3150N also supports 64/128 bit WEP encryption which offers first level of security choice to home users to provide confidentiality of the wireless network. DG-WN3150N can be installed and configured using a quick set-up utility. You can scan for a wireless network and create a profile for a frequently used wireless network.

DG-WN3150N can be configured as an Access Point using software to which other wireless stations can connect and access the network resources. Other wireless stations can access Internet through DGWN3150N by using the Windows ICS feature from the utility. DG-WN3150N comes with a tiny size design which makes it portable and is lightweight to carry. The sleek design of DG-WN3150N has an in-built antenna making it convenient to connect to notebook/desktop computers.
