Neeraj Sharma to lead HP IPG Business

HP India has announced Neeraj Sharma as the Vice-President of the Imaging and Printing Group in India. He will be replacing Ravi Aggarwal who is retiring from HP after 21 years.
Neeraj will join the senior leadership team for HP India and will be reporting to John Solomon, Senior Vice-President, HP, Imaging and Printing group, Asia-Pacific and Japan."Neeraj is a strategic thinker, passionate about technology, with panache to sniff out new growth opportunities," said John Solomon. "We believe these are the qualities that will lead us to the next level of growth in India."Formerly an IBM senior executive, Neeraj joins HP with 20 years of experience, of which seven were spent in senior leadership roles across varied technology portfolios. He has successfully led complex B2B, SME and Enterprise PC and peripherals businesses with both retail and distribution strategies and comes with a solid understanding of the Indian landscape. He also led the new Lenovo organization when IBM divested from their PC business in 2005. Most recently, he augmented his background of managing hardware portfolios with three and a half years of services experience, creating complex technology solutions for major clients across the region. In his new role at HP, Neeraj will be focussed on identifying high potential growth opportunities, strengthening our business across business units, and maintaining market leadership in all our key segments.
