SatNav launches GPS Child Phone with Tracker

SatNav Technologies has introduced a cutely styled SatGuide Child Phone for anxious parents who do not want to give full-fledged phones to their little ones for fear of misuse of the texting or calling features, but would still like to have a convenient way to track or talk to them in emergencies. The SatGuide GPS Child Phone only allows the parent's number to be dialled and can receive calls only from the parent's authorized phones.

"Countries like China are tackling the problem of lost children by giving away such GPS devices free to their school children through bodies like Red Cross and others. In our country, we cannot expect such luxuries since the Government's apathy towards GPS is evident from the fact that it attracts an unusually high rate of import duty at almost 30%, affecting its growth. So, the private sector needs to take the lead and directly approach consumers, in this case parents of children, to take advantage of such high-end technologies," said Amit Prasad, Founder & Managing Director, SatNav Technologies.

The product is available for just Rs.5,999, including 30 days of Tracker Service. Subsequently, the consumer can purchase one-year tracker service at Rs.499 only. SatGuide Child Phone with SatTracx Locator service will offer peace of mind and safety as well as security to all its customers at a reasonable cost.
