Zen mobile has launched the Zen X414. The new handset offers the biggest screen of 2.4 inches packed with powerful multimedia features.

Commenting on the launch, Deepesh Gupta, Managing Director, Zen Mobile, said, "Till date, a first-time user in the entry-level market had to be content with a small screen and a few multimedia features that he can enjoy on his handset for a couple of hours on a single charge. We aim to change it all with the launch of X414 as it offers the biggest screen of 2.4 inches in this category coupled with powerful multimedia features such as MP3 & MP4 players, FM radio with recording, a powerful led torch and a battery backup of 40 days on standby."

The X414 is designed from the feedback which Zen Mobile has garnered from its extensive distribution reach of 25,000+ retail touch points across India, and encompasses all the features that a first-time handset user aspires to have in his First Phone. The "consumer connect" programme of Zen Mobile revealed that a customer making his first-ever mobile handset purchase craves for a cinema experience from his phone, in addition to the basic connectivity. Translating this feedback into reality, Zen Mobile started working with its in-house design in collaboration with its R&D and technology arm, introduced the Zen X414 at an unbeatable price.

The Zen X414 is a GPRS and WAP-enabled handset which makes web browsing and downloading of content easier and faster for users. In addition, the handset also comes with a USB connector that lets you connect to your computer for seamless transfer of data and files.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
