Acer India appoints Cyberstar as ND

Acer India has appointment of Cyberstar as its National Distributor for Acer's Server Products. With this partnership, Acer will focus on extending its presence across India and address the growing server needs of SME and SMB's. Acer will utilize the extensive partner network of Cyberstar to reach out its wide range of customers more efficiently and effectively.

In an effort to create top-of-mind recall for Acer's Server Products amongst SME and SMB's, Cyberstar will initially appoint 40 dedicated Acer Partners in 8 cities and then gradually extend this program all over India. As part of this program, Cyberstar will aim to educate SME and SMB's on how Acer's Server Products offer the best solution to meet a growing company's technology requirement. To support this initiative, Acer and Cyberstar will partner on customer engagement programs including direct mailers, multi-city partner road shows, end customer road shows etc. Cyberstar will leverage its presence in more than 20 cities and a 3500 strong active channel partner network to support the effective implementation of this program.

On this occasion S. Rajendran, Chief Marketing Officer, Acer India said, "Acer has now set its sight firmly on capturing a significant share of the server market in India with a particular focus on the SME and SMB space. Our association with Cyberstar will help build trust in this space, through a strategy entirely reliant on a specialised channel. We have brought Cyberstar on board as a distributor because they can deliver a genuine 'value added' service to our customers in the computing space."
