It offers multiple ways to access the Internet – Mobile WiFi Router that allows users to share Internet anywhere with up to eight devices, WiFi 802.11 n, 3G HSDPA 7.2 Mbps downloads and supports USB Modem functionality, thereby making it an all-in-one wireless internet solution.

IDEOS comes pre-loaded with a range of social networking, email and useful services like Google Talk, Google Maps, YouTube and GMail. IDEOS also offers access to more than 100,000 applications available in the Android market, across multiple categories like gaming, communication, entertainment, office, and financial management applications. The latest Android 2.2 operating system offers to consumers the ability to run applications on the SD card.

“Innovation and premium experiences should not be restricted to high-priced devices. In our research, we found that Indian youth and young executives are looking for smartphones having novelty, style, networking and performance features at affordable prices. We believe that IDEOS will redefine the Internet experience for Indian youth,” said Anand Narang, Marketing Director, Huawei Devices.

Huawei has also introduced People-centric Innovation in IDEOS with Smart sensors like battery-conserving “Proximity sensor”, eyes-friendly “Ambient Light sensor” and better viewing experience with “Gravity sensor”.
