Samsung unveils 3 New GALAXY Smartphones

Samsung India Electronics has announced the extension of the GALAXY family with the launch of Samsung GALAXY Ace, GALAXY Fit and GALAXY POP Smartphones.

Ranjit Yadav, Country Head, Samsung Mobiles and IT, said, "Following the phenomenal success of Samsung GALAXY S, we wanted to expand our Android-based Smartphone offerings in the Indian market in keeping with our philosophy of ‘Smartphone for everyone'. The new Samsung GALAXY models offer a premium design, enhanced multimedia features and the superior Android experience with Android 2.2.

The Samsung GALAXY Ace (S5830) is based on the Android 2.2 platform which provides users with a premium experience with its 3.5"HVGA TFT display and its optimum 800 Mhz processor enables consumers to experience smooth web browsing, hi-quality 3D graphic performance and faster data processing.

The second Smartphone in the Galaxy series that has just been launched - the Samsung GALAXY Fit (S5670) - comes with a 3.31"QVGA TFT display, Android 2.2; optimized user interface with Touchwiz 3.0, hybrid widgets and a 5-mega pixel camera.

GALAXY POP users can unleash the true potential of the Android platform with the speed of 3G. It includes Smartphone features like Social Hub, Touchwiz 3.0, SWYPE, Active Sync and its compact youthful design, the Samsung GALAXY POP (S5570) is targeted at young professionals who can enjoy enhanced 3G connectivity and experience super-fast downloads, content streaming an access to Android market and Samsung apps.
