Steve Dixon new Senior Director of Channels for Asia Pacific, Riverbed

Riverbed Technology has appointed Steve Dixon as its senior director, Asia Pacific (APAC) Channels. In this new role, Dixon will be responsible for ensuring that the Riverbed channel programme and partner ecosystem flourish within the Asia-Pacific region. By connecting customers with the right solutions and the right partners, Dixon will ensure that enterprises and government organizations recognize the maximum benefits from Riverbed IT performance solutions, including solutions for public, private and hybrid clouds.

Dixon brings to the role more than 25 years of experience within the IT industry. He previously held positions with Case Communications (now part of IBM), Cabletron Systems Australia and Kinetica before joining Riverbed in 2005.

"Since joining Riverbed, Steve has played a major role in establishing and driving channel strategy and relationships in the region,"says John Higgs, Vice-President of Sales for APAC, Riverbed. DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
