WatchGuard celebrates its 10th Anniversary by felicitating partners

To celebrate the completion of its 10th year in India, WatchGuard Technologies has felicitated its channel partners at a gala award night. The event was attended by more than 100 channel partners from across the country.

"India has been an extremely important market for us. We have been helping our customers to stay ahead of the game with our state of the art offerings. Our channel partners have been an integral part of our endeavor to be a valuable resource and trusted advisor to secure the businesses of our customers," informed Terry Haas, Vice President, International Sales, WatchGuard.

"Channel Partners have been playing a pivotal role in the growth and achievements of WatchGuard in India. This event is our sincere effort to recognize and reward the efforts of our channel community," commented Mohit Puri, Country Manager, India.

There were a total of 11 different categories of awards and four nominations for each of the category. The winners were announced based on the best performance under each category. On the day, 17 other WatchGuard Secure Partners(WSPs) were also felicitated for their association and valuable contribution during 10 years of WatchGuard's successful journey in India.

The event also witnessed unveiling of WatchGuard new OS XTM 11.4, powered by Application Control. Using over 2,500 signatures and behavioral techniques, Application Control allows administrators to enforce acceptable use policies for users and groups by category, application, and application sub-functions. Administrators can select which applications to control from 13 major categories.

In addition to Application Control, the OS XTM 11.4 also comes packed with a variety of new enhancements for better security, system performance and ease of use.
