APC launches 650VA Home-UPS

APC by Schneider Electric has expanded its Home-UPS range by adding the sleek new BI650SINE to the fold. This high-performance Home-UPS offers the perfect solution to frequent, long and frustrating power cuts.

Designed specifically for harsh Indian power conditions, the new BI650SINE provides pure sine wave backup power for home electronics like television sets, home theatre systems, stereo sets, gaming equipment, as well as for lights and fans. It provides 6 to 8 hours of continuous power supply. This is enabled by the best-in-class battery and an intelligent staged-charging feature.

"The new BI650SINE Home-UPS has been added to our range of Home-UPS to meet varying power backup requirements and budgets of our customers. We have a clear understanding of our customer's pain points, and have incorporated unique features into these products which they will appreciate and find useful. For instance, this new model has intelligent microprocessor controlled 3-stage regulated charging feature to ensure quick recharge even during frequent power cuts, without decreasing battery life. It also has an aesthetic design and shock-proof features," said Gaurav Burman, Director - Transaction Sales, APC.

"Frequent power cuts have become part and parcel of our daily lives affecting children's studies, interrupting household chores, impacting safety of elders at home, causing people to miss out on their favourite TV programmes and adding to the general discomfort during the peak summer heat. We believe life doesn't have to be this way. APC has been at the forefront of backup power technology for over two decades now with over 30 million delighted customers around the globe. The BI650SINE is our new offering to our customers to help them live life uninterrupted,” said Sridhar Laxman, Director - Strategic Marketing, APC.
