Cooler Master launches CMP-350

Cooler Master has launched its new affordable mid-tower chassis, the CMP-350. Targeted at first-time PC buyers, this chassis offers excellent quality at an attractive price point.

Good quality chassis are hard to come by in the entry-level space and that is what Cooler Master's new CMP-350 intends to change. A value proposition, the CMP-350 offers innumerate features, a rock-solid power supply and an elegant design to boot.

Crafted with cooling efficiency in mind, the CMP-350 offers excellent airflow, courtesy its active front, side and rear ventilation systems. The slated front design not only improves cooling, but also adds a touch of class and elegance. A streak of blue LED light further accentuates its classy looks. It comes with one 120mm fan at the rear and one more can be added to the front for improved cooling. The stamped back plate improves structural rigidity and provides optimum support for installing a motherboard.

This mid-tower chassis is large enough to accept ATX as well as micro-ATX motherboards and comes with a front panel I/O offering two USB 2.0 ports and jacks for microphone and an audio out. The chassis can accommodate up to six hard drives and has space for four optical drives. But the most important feature is the provision of a standard ATX power supply with a life time of 100,000 hours with circuits for Over Voltage, Over Power and Short Circuit protection - a first for any chassis in the value segment. DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
