Cost-effective Broadband Solution from D-Link

D-Link has introduced two new cost-effective products, namely D-Link DSL-2750U and D-Link DSL-2730U.

D-Link DSL-2750U is a Wireless N 300 ADSL2+ Wi-Fi Router with USB that provides high-performance 802.11n wireless access for wirelessly networked computers, thereby enabling users to take full advantage of their high-speed ADSL connection. D-Link DSL-2730U, on the other hand, is a Wireless N 150 ADSL2+ Ethernet Router that allows users to connect to 802.11n wireless devices at up to 150 Mbps speed.

Both DSL-2750U and DSL-2730U help to connect a group of users to the Internet, allowing multiple computers at home or office to share an integrated high-speed ADSL2/2+ interface. Its high-speed performance allows users to enjoy smooth media streaming, so they can watch TV, listen to live music, broadcast over the Internet, and even experience clear Internet phone calls. Further, DSL-2750U and DSL-2730U also come with four built-in Ethernet ports, firewall protection, and QoS for smooth and secure transfer of photos, files, music, video, and e-mail over the Internet.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
