Dataton brings sight and sound to InfoComm China 2011

Following its success in providing multi-show presentation to over two dozen pavilions at the Shanghai Expo 2010, Swedish multi-display production and audio guide specialist, Dataton will bring the latest Dataton WATCHOUT technology to InfoComm China 2011.

Fredrik Svahnberg, Marketing Director, Dataton, said, "The ability of WATCHOUT to create a spectacular impact can be seen in various installations in China today, ranging from nightclubs to temporary installations, corporate presentations, museums and even touring exhibitions. At InfoComm, China, we will be showcasing the powerful features and versatility of the latest version in all its glory."

The front-end programming capabilities of the software's Systems Manager will be demonstrated providing a glimpse into how easy the software is to manage.

"We will be at InfoComm to meet with local show producers, partners, audio visual and technology professionals, and introduce them to our latest technologies. We expect them to be impressed by the quality and definition that they deliver," added, Svanhberg.

In addition to the exhibition activites, Fredrik Svahnberg will also be holding an industry seminar on "Techniques, Technologies and Production Values for Large-scale Projections" on April 14, 0930 -1045 as part of the InfoComm China 2011 Industry Conference.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
