EMC Customer Support Services now in 100 Cities

EMC has now expanded its customer support services to cover 100 cities across India, a significant milestone for the company that has rapidly grown its customer base for its information infrastructure products.

Thiruvallur in Tamil Nadu will become the 100th city to offer EMC customer support services as part of the company's commitment to local customers who will now receive support in a timely manner, as and when needed. EMC's on-location support services in 100 cities in India include installation, implementation, maintaining uptime and troubleshooting.

All of EMC's products are architected and designed and implemented with dial-home functionality, enabling EMC's support team to address any potential hardware or software faults without impacting functionality and ensuring business continuity.

Manoj Chugh, President, EMC India and SAARC, said, "The information storage industry has seen a three-fold growth in India in the last decade. This is a direct result of the digital information explosion under way."

EMC today has over 1,930 customers in the enterprise and mid-market segments in India. DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
