Netxcell Limited has launched the Single IVR (Interactive Voice Response). The Single IVR system is an advanced technology platform that enables corporates, telecom subsrcibers and anyone using the system to do away with multiple IVR platforms. By using the Single IVR platform customer can now configure all their IVR requirements on this platform - they need not have separate IVR systems for Customer Service, Song Downloads, CRBT (Caller Ringback Tone), and other Value added services.

According to global report on the Speech Technology Market has revealed the IVR market will reach a forecasted $20.9 billion by 2015. Generally, IVR systems are extensively used by small, medium and large companies to re-direct calls to relevant customer service agents to enable them to better serve their customers. IVR systems in themselves help companies manage cost by eliminating the need for setting up call centers and managing it.

The IVR system has emerged as an alternative to using call centres where the costs are huge and recurring. It replaces the need for agents, supervisors and training to a call centre team and therefore cuts down significantly on costs and time to market.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
