SMC Networks unveils SMC-ATM Routers

SMC Networks has introduced ATM ROUTERS globally. This router connects to 3G networks using your existing USB wireless modem. It also connects with many wireless peripherals and other Wi-Fi devices, hence creating a Wi-Fi hotspot from almost anywhere.

The Wireless Router is hugely used in ATMs as well as Mobile ATMs. It is simple enough to be set up in just minutes. The Router is compatible with most modems in the market. It is user-friendly and ready-to-use device. The ATM ROUTER features 1-port 10/100 MB/s LAN & WAN port, high-speed wireless-N access point, NAT firewall with SPI, a user-friendly web-based management interface. The one-of-its-kind unique feature is that it works with a number of service providers like Reliance, Tata and many other eminent Teleservices. Unlike the VSAT connection, SMC ATM Routers are extremely cost-effective and also require very less time for its installation. Within a few minutes, the connectivity is obtained and the ATM site is ready.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
