Book IPL Tickets, Movie Shows on mobile through BEAM

Beam has launched its payment service to book IPL tickets and Movie tickets at anytime, from anywhere, right from the mobile phones. The application is facilitate with the Bookmyshow services.

The long waiting in the queues for, fear of not getting the tickets, wastage of time and physical effort are all over now. With BEAM anyone can book the tickets of their favorite movie shows, IPL via Beam's website or Bookmyshow's WAP site and mobile application.

"BEAM is all about enabling, empowering and enriching its customers with varied services across the sectors." Said, Anad Shrivastav, CMD, BEAM. "We have been serving various services ranging from mobile recharges, travel tickets to utility bills payments and now with this new venture BEAM enters into the entertainment segment. WE are already getting sound response from all our existing customers and hope this will interest more and more people towards BEAM services" he added.

The facility is available for over 500 movie theatres and matches of 4 IPL Teams (MI, DD, KXIP AND RR). The mobile website and application is available for iPhone, Blackberry, Android and other mobile phones as well. DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
