DigiVive unveils nexGTv in partnership with MTNL

"DigiVive" has entered into a partnership with MTNL to provide nexGTv and Vmotion services to MTNL's customers. MTNL is set to redefine Mobile TV viewing experience through nexGTv, and the services will be available to its customers.

nexGTv is a next-generation Mobile TV service offering live TV channels and an exhaustive list of Video-On-Demand (VOD)content on mobile. This service is available for both 2G as well as 3G users with compatible handsets. With nexGTv, users can now watch Live TV on their mobile anywhere, anytime by making a Video call to the 3G short code 52627 (circuit-switched) or via WAP browser (packet-switched).

nexGTv will provide over 50 live TV channels ranging from entertainment, reality, news, religious to popular regional channels. It will also provide first-of-its-kind VOD (Video on demand) content that includes special scenes from the hugely popular TV serial Mahabharata. The service would be available on a daily, weekly and monthly subscription at pay per view.

Vmotion is a unique Video IVR solution that combines voice and video and adds a new dimension to voice only applications. Vmotion provides 3G subscribers a dramatically enhanced user experience leading to high revenues and traffic for mobile operators. It allows subscribers to experience a host of innovative and content rich 3G services such as video-on-demand, live TV, etc. 3G subscribers dial the access number for Vmotion system, the platform will push a menu list on the handset screen. Based on the choice that the subscriber makes, he/she would be able to view the content. Digivive Vmotion solution is compatible with all 3G handsets and is scalable and robust. The subscription charges for Vmotion are Rs.30 per month, Rs.10 per week and Rs.3 per day with no video call charges.
