Naresh Shah new Vice-President - Engineering, ESSN, HP

HP has appointed Naresh Shah to serve as vice-president of engineering, Enterprise Servers, Storage and Networking (ESSN), effective immediately. In this newly-created position, Shah will be responsible for product collaboration across all ESSN business units in India. He will report directly to Martin Fink, Senior Vice-President & General Manager, Business Critical Systems, HP. "Naresh brings to HP not only a deep expertise in technology and international business practices, but also a passion for unleashing the potential of great talent," said Fink. "I am thrilled to have Naresh join my team and fill this critical position." Shah joins HP from Novell, where he served as managing director of Novell's India Development Centre (IDC) and vice president of Global Engineering Strategy, responsible for overall product development activities. Prior to joining Novell, he spent more than 20 years at AT&T and Lucent Technologies, where he held various management positions in engineering, product management and sales.Shah holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT, Kharagpur, and a Master of Science degree in Computer and Information Science from The Ohio State University.
