Air2Web introduces 2D Barcodes

Air2Web has launched AirCodez, a 2D barcode service that allows clients to use 2D QR barcodes in their promotions and campaigns. AirCodez targeted at enterprises across all verticals will enable them to connect offline information to the digital world seamlessly. Air2Web can help clients encode different types of actions like sending an SMS, initiating a voice call, opt-in to a campaign, push a mobile Coupon, lead to a web page, initiating a video, etc. into 2D barcodes that than be scanned and decoded by using a camera capable mobile phone. AirCodez generated can be displayed on billboards, wall papers or movie posters, printed on magazines, news papers or brochures and on product packages

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
