Asus launches the ROG MATRIX GTX 580 Graphics Cards

Based on the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 GPU, ASUS has unveiled the ROG MATRIX GTX Series. It combines a dual-fan DirectCU II thermal design and 19-phase Super Alloy Power components with instant hardware overclocking tools like TweakIt, ProbeIt and an innovative Safe Mode button.

"The ROG MATRIX GTX 580 is a high-performance graphics card for enthusiasts and gamers who demand the very best with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 GPU," said Vinay Shetty, Country Head - Component Business, ASUS (India). "The 19-Phase Super Alloy Power technology provides greater overclocking headroom with enhanced power efficiency and component durability."

The ROG MATRIX GTX 580 series is clocked at 816MHz and features 1.5GB of 4.8GHz GDDR5 memory. The new GPU Tweak overclocking tool has integrated the GPU-Z with TechPowerUp to provide accurate information about the graphics card, real-time clock frequency, voltage, fan speed and profile adjustments for up to four different card settings in combination to this. The Matrix GTX 580 Graphics Card is available at a price of Rs.32,435/-.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
