ASUS partnered with Intel to participate in the Intel Channel Conference (ICC) event which was conducted across 12 cities of the country between May 27 and June 20, 2011. The cities included Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Guwahati, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Vishakhapatnam, Cochin, Lucknow, Indore, Jaipur and Pune. Partners were given details on the latest ASUS' innovations incorporated into their motherboards like ROG Thunderbolt, ROG Connect with GPU TweakIt, UEFI BIOS (EZ Mode) and Dual Intelligent Processors 2 with DIGI+ VRM Digital Power Design.

The event aimed to educate the channel partners on the benefits of Intel's latest Sandy Bridge Platform. ASUS displayed its latest ROG and TUF series motherboards based on Intel chipsets and at major locations ASUS also had high-end machines powered by ASUS' P8Z68-V PRO motherboard for demonstration. With these machines ASUS demonstrated its exclusive UEFI BIOS (EZ Mode) and LucidLogix Virtu's GPU Virtualization technology which is supported on its Intel Z68 Express Chipset-based motherboards.

"It is a very encouraging step taken by Intel to impart the right product knowledge to its channel partners so that they can sell more effectively and ensure profitability. ASUS displayed its contemporary motherboards and new innovations like UEFI BIOS (EZ Mode) and Dual Intelligent Processors 2 with DIGI+ VRM Digital Power Design which perfectly match digital power signal requests from Sandy Bridge processors," said Vinay Shetty, Country Head, Component Business, ASUS (India), in response to success of this event. "At least 1,500 partners attended these conferences across 12 cities and the response was overwhelming."
