Belkin Channel Meet in Chennai for its SCS Partners

Belkin India has organized its channel partner meet for its Structured Cabling Solution (SCS) partners in Chennai recently. The channel partner meet was held across all major metros in India - Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai. This five-city event, which was held from May to June this year, aimed to connect with dedicated Belkin SCS partners. The event has enabled Belkin to connect with over 500 partners across all five cities.

The gala event showcased Belkin's latest structured cabling solutions, explained its new product roadmaps, ongoing marketing initiatives and discussed the emerging market trends and opportunities with its growing base of partners.

"We have been consistently growing our structured cabling business, quarter on quarter since its launch late last year, both in revenue terms and market share," said Mohit Anand, Managing Director, India Subcontinent. "In addition, we have also expanded our channel partner base for this product line considerably and this tour is designed to help us connect with them on a one-on-one basis, discuss emerging opportunities and educate them on how to cultivate these available opportunities for maximum gain," he added.

Belkin offers a complete range of structured cabling solutions from Cat 5e, Cat 6 and Cat 6a bulk cables and components for each category from patch cords to keystone Jacks, and Patch Panels to SMBs.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
