Krishnan Thyagarajan is new VP, Quest Software

Quest Software has appointed Krishnan Thyagarajan as Vice-President, Strategic Alliance, of the Worldwide Data Protection unit. Krishnan will be responsible for strengthening relationships with global OEM, Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Cloud Service Providers for Quest's Data Protection solution stacks.

Quest's data protection solutions help clients prevent data loss and ensure business continuity through real-time data capture and replication for mission-critical data. The Data Protection Unit embeds intelligent Quest technology into partners' go-to-market offerings to offer effective business solutions. Krishnan Thyagarajan said, "I am very excited to take on the new role and will look forward to working more closely with our partners, combining their expertise with Quest's technologies to offer innovative solutions to the customers."

Prior to the new role, Krishnan was the MD, Quest Software India, and was instrumental in setting up and leading Quest's operations in India. Under his able leadership, Quest expanded its operations in India, registering impressive growth to offer sales and support from offices in Bangalore, Mumbai and New Delhi.
