Prithvi bags Mizoram SDC Project

Prithvi Information Solutions has bagged a Rs.12.5-crore Mizoram State Data Center (SDC) project. Prithvi has won this project by competing with the players like Reliance, HCL, TCS and Sify.

The project is primarily for the Design, Site preparation, Supply, Installation, Commissioning, Maintenance and Operations of the State Data Center at Aizawl, Mizoram. The initial build phase of this SDC is expected to be completed in six months time, followed by 5 years of Facility Management Services for the Data Center.

Amitava Lahiri, SVP, IT Services, Prithvi Information Solutions Ltd., said, "The proposed SDC will be connected to the State Wide Area Network (SWAN), which will help provide access to the e-Governance applications and services to government employees through Intranet and to the citizens through public Internet/CSC."

"Using our expertise in implementing data centers of various state governments, Prithvi will assist the Government of Mizoram in establishing a reliable and efficient SDC. We expect this state-of-the-art Data Center to minimize the cost of data deployment, improve delivery of services to citizens, enhance IT and management control," said Satish Vuppalapati, Managing Director, Prithvi Information Solutions Ltd.

Mizoram SDC will help to consolidate and strengthen the System Integration business of Prithvi.
