Acer expands Its Product Portfolio

Acer has launched thin and light Timeline X series of notebooks in India. Acer India has further expanded its product portfolio with the introduction of Aspire 5830T and Aspire 5830TG range of notebooks. Acer has redesigned this product line with a sleek and stylish form factor which is not only thin and light but is complemented with a long battery life and accompanied with new features such as Dolby Home Theatre v4 Audio.

The Aspire 5830T and Aspire 5830TG range of notebook is powered by the second-generation Intel Core i5 and i3 processors with Turbo Boost technology .The Timeline X performance, convenience and connectivity that savvy consumers across segments such as students, business, gamers and users for entertainment. In addition, the inbuilt Acer PowerSmart Technology provides extended longevity of battery life, up to eight hours that allows users to stay connected all-day with a single charge. The notebook also comes with additional features like a Bluetooth 3.0+HS, Wi-Fi certified to ensure speedy internet connection.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
