Epson rolls out Professional Photographic Printers

Epson has launched its latest professional photographic printers -Epson Stylus Pro 7890 (24-inch wide) and Epson Stylus Pro 9890 (44-inch wide) large format printers, which incorporate the precision of Epson's proprietary Micro Piezo Thin Film Piezo (TFP) print head and the eight-colour Epson UltraChrome K3 ink with Vivid Magenta to achieve class-leading print quality and speed.

The Epson Stylus Pro 7890 / 9890 is using the re-engineered Micro Piezo TFP print head that is approximately twice as fast as their predecessor models (the Epson Stylus Pro 7880 / 9880). In addition, the new printers feature auto-switching of photo black and matte black ink depending on the media selected, which helps to save time and reduce ink and media wastage. Therefore, the Epson Stylus Pro 7890 / 9890 is installed with an optional in line colour to facilitate professional colour management workflow by performing colour calibration automatically.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
