Facebook CEO most popular on Google+

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE

Facebook CEO Mark Zukerberg continues to be the most popular person on Google's recently launched social-networking site Google+. The founder of Facebook has been in the news for his activities on Google+. According to the reports, Zuckerberg has apparently changed his privacy settings so that they no longer display how many people follow him or how many people he has placed in circles on the new social network. Circles are groups of friends on Google+.

Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin reportedly too seem to have hit the privacy button, hiding how many friends and followers they have on Google+. The trio have since then fallen off a ranking of the 100 most popular people on the new social network.

The unofficial top 100 list is compiled by an Amsterdam-based team of programmers on a site called Google+ Statistics. The same group is also said to be tracking user popularity on Twitter through Twitter Counter.
