Google unveils new Photo-Sharing Service

According to market buzz, Google has begun rolling out a new social-networking photo service, Photovine.

Photovine, the service appears to let consumers take snaps from their phones and upload them in a stream in the same way tweets flow into Twitter. The service, though, is not yet live. There is only the opportunity to request an invitation on Photovine's website, with no indication of when the service will launch.

Google has offered few details about Photovine and said little in response and stated, “Photovine is a photo-sharing service. It's a fun way to learn more about your friends, meet new people and share your world with others.”
