Beetel rolls Android tablet

Beetel Teletech has rolled out its tablet device - Beetel Magiq, priced at Rs. 9,999. The device is Android-based. It comes with a 7 inch screen, 2 mega pixel front as well as rear camera and 8 Gigabyte (GB) internal memory, which can be expanded up to 32 GB. The device supports wi-fi and 3G and has a 1 GHz processor.

"The Beetel Magiq has been designed looking at the technology needs of the extremely demanding Indian customers. Our tablet is not only about Director & CEO, Vinod Sawhny stated affordability but also about aspirational features which were previously available in the high-end devices," Beteel Telech Executive.

Japan's Sharp to buy Toshiba PC business for $36 mln

As per the report, Sharp Corporation of Japan to buy Toshiba Corp’s personal computer business for 4 billion yen ($36 million). Sharp brand is under the control of manufacturing giant Foxconn, the world’s biggest contract manufacturer and major Apple Inc supplier, to produce PCs more cheaply – just as it was able to do in TVs. Another report also noticed by VARINDIA, Foxconn is also promoting the Sharp TV to start marketing in India, which has kick started from this year IPL(Indian Premiere League) ,with this they are marking a return to a business in India.
