Google debuts Gmail voice calling in 38 languages
Google has announced the support for Gmail voice calling service to call any mobile or landline outside the U.S by offering calling in 38 new languages. The new service with lower rates to over 150 destinations will be available in next few days. Last year, Google had announced this service in the US and Canada for free of cost and plans to extend the service at least for the rest of 2011.
With the new service, Gmail users can buy calling credit of their choice in four currencies - Euros, British pounds, Canadian dollars or U.S. dollars - and there won't be any connection fees so that the user pays for the time they talk.
Gmail users can make use of the new service by clicking on the little green phone icon show up at the top of chat list.
