Inspan plans 2011' Q2 Road Show Series

Inspan has planned its Q2 series of road shows continuing under the theme 'Inspan Insights -2011'. Under this series, Inspan will reach out to partners in tier 3 and tier 4 cities. This set for Q2 (JAS) financial year is slated in August and September. Inspan will go to Coimbatore, Pondicherry, Tirunelveli and Trichirapalli, to get connected with partners.

With the success of Q1 road shows, vendors are very excited as they are sure to benefit a lot from these road shows. Vendors rarely get a chance to meet and interact personally with partners in these up country markets. Often one would focus on bigger markets like Cochin and Trivandrum.

"It was an exciting moment to see the overwhelming response from partners in the Q1 2011 road shows conducted at Kannur, Mallapuram & Calicut. Our concept of getting in touch with partners of C class and D class cities has given us tremendous success. Partners feel very happy to interact with vendors directly. Our vendors are very happy with this special support that Inspan is offering. We would continue to penetrate in different geographies as per our plan in the current and upcoming quarters," Sudhir S, MD, Inspan said.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
