InterGlobe Technologies launches new integrated solution

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE

InterGlobe Technologies (IGT) has launched an integrated solution for managing crew travel. The solution is focused towards suppliers of travel like airlines, railways and cruises.

Traditionally considered as a non-revenue part of the travel, crew travel plays an important role in ensuring operating efficiency for airlines, rail and cruise companies. Even though many airlines invest into tools for managing crew travel, they are unable to bring efficiency and flexibility to the process due to inter-departmental dependencies and lack of timely communication.

Having worked with some of the leading travel suppliers globally, IGT has developed a unique integrated solution called Crew Travel Management Center (CTMC) that combines the efficiency of automation and technology with the support of a centralized contact centre. CTMC focuses on providing 24x7 multichannel support for end-to-end crew travel, right from rostering to billing to visa processing and HR payroll management. CTMC also combines the use of customized automation tools with new age connect points like mobile and social media to ensure that crew members including pilots always get timely support and information.

CTMC currently supports over 20000 crew members through a multi-channel support center that includes phone, email, mobile and social media.

Vipul Doshi‚ Chief Executive Officer‚ InterGlobe Technologies said, "At IGT we have delivered high quality services to our travel client's end-users. The same levels of service are being extended to their crew, as the crew forms an integral part in driving passenger satisfaction. Our deep domain expertise in travel, coupled with our integrated IT-BPO offering will help airlines and travel companies achieve significant cost savings, drive operational efficiencies and increase employee satisfaction."
