Airtel bags 2G, 3G services licence in Rwanda

Bharti Airtel has bagged the licence to operate 2G and 3G GSM mobile services in Rwanda. The Company plans to invest over $100 million in its operations in Rwanda over the next three years. With this licence, Airtel's mark across the African continent will spread to 17 countries. Rwanda is believed to be the fastest growing telecom markets in Africa.
