GETIT brings Onam Special website

GETIT has rolled out an Onam site to make shopping easy and convenient for its user base in Kerala. GETIT's Onam website, http://onam.getit.in/, is a 360 degrees resource bank on Onam. The same information is also available through GETIT's voice service.

The website is able to search for the deals and promotional offers for Onam available across the State. The site contains information on Onam origins, dances, various rituals, parades and recipes associated with the festival. The site also encompasses details regarding the traditional ways to celebrate Onam and the specific prayers on ten days of Onam in addition to all the local search information.

GETIT's mascot 'Findy' will also be celebrating Onam during GETIT's special 'Onam Week' on its Facebook page.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
