Philips brings Xenium Mobile Phones in India

Shenzhen Sang Fei Consumer Communications has launched Philips Xenium dual-SIM mobile phones in India. Xenium, the green and power management technology, enables near-zero consumption of battery charge on standby for up to two months without increasing battery size. These energy-efficient phones are targeted at heavy users, primarily the business professionals, frequent travellers and anyone who desires to be "always connected". When long battery life is a must, Philips' Xenium series of phones always go the extra mile.

Xenium X513 features 2000mAh battery offering standby time of 60 days, for Rs.4,776/-. This model offers 16 hours of talk time, up to 80 hours of music playback, 1,000 phonebook entries, 1,000 SMS storage capacity and expandable external memory up to 16 GB. For the music aficionados, the Philips Xenium X806, X518, X523 and X513 have RDS FM radio and Bluetooth stereo music.

The new Philips Xenium X806 comes with fast, intuitive touchscreen and a touch-sensitive dashboard for quick access to applications. A 3-inch 262K colour display, 5-mega pixel autofocus camera with flash, expandable external memory up to 8 GB, besides up to 1 month of standby time and 8 hours of talk time, this model is available for Rs.8,280/-.

The Philips Xenium X518 produces solid results at the lightest of the touch. With 2.8-inch TFT touchscreen, preset widgets for the home screen, 2-mega pixel camera with flash and an expandable external memory up to 16 GB, up to 40 days standby time and 12 hours of talk time, this model is available for Rs.5,976/-. Another phone that offers maximum performance with minimum fuss is Philips Xenium X523. It is a solid bar phone available in red and black colour variants. Available for Rs.4,992/-, it has 3.2-mega pixel camera with flash, expandable external memory as high as 32 GB, up to 50 days of standby time.

At the economy range from Philips, there are the always-on, always-connected Xenium X116 and Xenium X121 models available for Rs.2,760/- and Rs.1,776/-, respectively. The X116 features a digital camera and offers up to 1 month of standby time and 8 hours of talk time as well as expandable external memory up to 4 GB. While the X121 offers a standby time of 1 month, talk time of 7.5 hours and expandable external memory up to 2 GB. Both these phones come with a built-in LED torch and are ideal companions for those who love listening to music on the go (FM radio, MP3 playback and ringtones).
