RIM & Ingram brings EPP for Corporates

In June this year, RIM roped in Ingram for taking care of corporate selling. And now both have come up with a unique Employee Purchase Programme (EPP) for the corporate. EPP includes creating of 1-2 day of RIM booths offering handset exchange offers, best deal for corporate employees, etc.

"We are trying to help our partners reach their customers better. By putting up a stall at the partners' existing customer's premises, we help our partners to give a personal touch while educating the customers about the features and handset selling," Sunil Lalvani, Director - Enterprise Sales, RIM India, informed VARIndia during its recently organized meet in the Capital.

Though the stall is built by RIM and Ingram, but the counters would be managed by the partners, whose account it is. Sharing about investments both agreed that it is well balanced between them (RIM and Ingram).

"The response of EPP has been phenomenon. We have successfully conducted more than 10 such booths," informed Atul Gaur, Director - Product Management, Ingram Micro India Ltd.

At the same time, RIM and Ingram are taking the channel awareness programme for their existing range that comprises of many new recent launches. Cities covered are Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Hyedrabad. The event is attended by SIs and ISVs.
